At Tutor Pro, all of our tutors are subject experts who are dynamic instructors as well as positive role
models for students.
OUR TUTORS
Lhisha Bennett is the owner of Tutor Pro. She studied
Biochemistry at Queen's University and has sixteen years
of tutoring and teaching experience. She has experience with advanced
placement courses and the International Baccalaureate Programme as well
as learning disabilities and individual education plans. She is also familiar with
the unique challenges that French immersion and international students face
when learning math and science in English for the first time. Lhisha enjoys
travelling, dancing and horseback riding.
Michaela Thomas is pursuing a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
at the University of Victoria where her research focuses on micro-encapsulated
protein delivery to the human brain. Previously, Michaela studied Chemical
Engineering at Queen's University where she earned a full scholarship and
maintained an A- average.
Michaela graduated from Shawnigan Lake School with a 97 % average in
grade 12. She is delighted to be tutoring at Tutor Pro in Shawnigan Lake.
Michaela loves Star Wars and the space industry and ran a conference on
space-related developments for three years. Michaela enjoys creative writing.
Esmee Zinkan studies science at the University of Victoria where she has
earned a full scholarship. She has maintained an A+ average in her university
studies and has an interest in sports medicine. She graduated from Frances
Kelsey Secondary School, first in her class, with a 98 % average. Esmee enjoys
sports like hiking the West Coast Trail and triathlons.
